Harry Potter Fanfic Happens

Every story posted here is set in the Harry Potter series of J.K. Rowling, with her characters, in her world. (Although those in my separate little ‘verse differ in some fundamentals from the original.) Obviously I’ve had fun playing in it, and I offer my appreciation. No copyright infringement is intended.
You don’t have to know my ’verse to follow these. What isn’t explained in-story isn’t necessary, but it would help to know that The War is a real war in my ‘verse, lasting several years and involving most of the able population in one capacity or another. Pretty much everything after PoA (and some things from it) is different, and what isn’t is a hodgepodge from the books and the movies.
Most of these stories involve Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, or Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom, or quite frequently both. Assorted others flit by.

Exploration and Alchemy I
Honeymoon Rhinitis, allergies, inducing, and the beginning of a cold.
During the last winter of the War, Neville discovers Draco’s Honeymoon Rhinitis, and takes advantage of a snow-in to help him overcome his repression. A long, rambling-and-figuring-things-out-about-the-fetish story I wrote many years ago that heats up rather abruptly and just keeps heating.
Part – 1
In which Neville realizes and they both get to cope.
Part – 2 T In which they talk about it, and life goes on.
Part – 3 T In which a blizzard brings unexpected consequences and gifts.
Part – 4 T In which Neville confronts Draco about the potion drops.
Part – 5
In which it begins, and they deal.
Part – 6
In which it continues, and they deal better.
Part – 7
In which things get difficult, and the night ends.
Part – 8
In which it’s morning, and something is different.
Part – 9
In which Draco makes some revelations.

Draco is pulled from normal duty when a Dark Artefact is used against the Order of the Phoenix – one that can only be triggered by Black blood. Neville follows and, together with Sirius and Remus, they try to find an explanation before both Draco and Sirius land in Azkaban.
(Posting in Progress – Last Updated 7-7-09)
Part – 2 In which the reality checks eventually take.
Part – 3 In which HQ provides challenges for Draco’s control.

With an explanation found, the innocent get a chance for comfort.

Touching Draco

A heavy cold, and Honeymoon Rhinitis. Major contagion emphasis.
With the War more than a decade behind them, a Pepper-Up resistant cold virus is causing an epidemic, and Neville finds himself in a unique position to deeply indulge Draco’s unique preferences.

Forgiven
J.K.Rowling canon ‘verse.
One catches cold, one has the fetish.
I could take the SF element out of this and call it one of the best fics I’ve ever written on its own. Four parts story, one part sex, in content and proportion. Strong angst. Sirius/Remus : They got a year….…

Browsing through the SFF, I came across the link to this site, and in search of good fiction, I paid it a visit. All I can say is that I’m so incredibly glad I did, since what I’ve found is a veritable treasure trove of my very favourite kind of hurt/comfort, illuminated with absolutely first class writing. I’m used to settling for whatever I can get with SF, but all of the writing posted here is truly superb, the characterisation rings true and the moments of vulnerability are enough to make heart ache.
Thank you so much for your contribution to the community; I will be eagerly awaiting every and any update to this site.

Hi! Welcome to the site. Thanks for taking time to let me know what you think – thoughtful responses like yours help me keep my enthusiasm going for this place. :]
It seems like there are a lot more of us than I expected there would be who enjoy this particular kind of h/c-y sf-yness. I had just thought of this as a story page in the beginning, but if the response keeps up I may turn it into much more of an archive for this particular type of fiction. :] We’ll see.
Thanks again for letting me know what you thought! :]
