Daylight Starr’s Stories

Heart Vine
Daylight Starr makes you feel like you’re right there with her characters, walking through their stories with them and feeling what they feel. I’m very pleased she’s agreed to let me host some of her h/c-sf stories here, and let me share some of my favorites with you. Please remember to let her know what you think!

A Minor Inconvenience
Star Trek TOS : Spock, Kirk, McCoy : allergy
A new planet means a new, unpleasant and decidedly inconvenient reaction to a certain Vulcan first officer.  There is very little, if any point to this story other than to make said Vulcan first officer very miserable. (Kate’s Note: An on-the-fly gift-fic for me, because DS is just that nice. :] )

A Touch of Home
Star Trek 2009 : Spock, Amanda : cold
How does a Vulcan immune system react to the human rhinovirus? When Amanda comes to Earth for the first time since her son left Vulcan, she finds out.

Evening Conversation
Supernatural : Dean, Sam : cold
This story takes place right after the third episode of the first season. After their jump in the lake to save Lucas, Sam catches a cold and Dean learns a couple of things about his brother that he might not have known before. Really, just some mindless Winchester fluff.

His Own Good
House MD : Wilson, House : cold
Wilson has a cold. House tries to make him go home. And just about the most pointless fanfic in history is born. (Kate’s Note: She fibs! This is actually the fic that first made me realize what a talent for human details DS has!)

Vulcan Pride and Human Logic

    Part 1     Part 2          Part 3
Star Trek 2009 : Spock, Kirk : Chloridian flu
When Spock comes down with a virus, it’s up to two “illogical” humans to make him see reason and take care of himself. In progress.
